Our world has changed rapidly but Ezze has been quick to follow. We understand that our society is experiencing higher rates of anxiety than ever before. That is why Ezze has developed enhanced safety measures that all Ezze hosts are required to follow to ensure that our community can share safely and confidently. We have doubled down on finding ways for hosts to provide clean cars to whoever needs them be it frontline workers that cannot work from or those looking for a mini road trip adventure.
Clean and Disinfected Cars
All of our hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip per our strengthened cleaning policy. Ezze provides hosts with the training material on proper cleaning and disinfecting practices. These practices are based on the guidelines from the CDC, WHO, EPA and vehicle detailing experts.
Hosts will clean their cars’ interior and wipe down all the surfaces with disinfectant especially the ‘hot spots’ like door handles, steering wheel, buttons, switches, seat belts, indicators, and AC controls.

If the cleanliness of the car does not satisfy you when you collect the car, you can contact our Customer Service Team before beginning the journey and we will cancel the trip for you and provide you a full refund. We will also arrange a different car for you, so you don’t have to delay or change your plans. View our new cleaning policy for more details.
Contactless Check-in Options
In order to maintain social distancing and a clear mind, many Ezze hosts happily offer remote access to their vehicles. Before booking the car, you are encouraged to contact the host and enquire about their check-in process and make sure that you are comfortable. If they offer contactless check-in, they will verify your identity remotely and provided different options to grant you access to the car.
– Ezze Go: Use the Ezze app to locate and unlock the car without having to meet the hosts. This service is currently only available for certain cars in the UAE.
– Remote Access Technology: Hosts can offer remote access via lockboxes so that you get the keys without having to meet in person. Keep in mind that many new cars have built in remote unlock technology that allows drivers to lock and unlock cars from their phones.
– Socially Distance Meetings: If the keys need to be handed over in person, we encourage that both parties maintain social distance and limit contact for check-in and check-out. Make sure to wear face masks and use hand sanitizer after any sort of contact.

Flexible Cancellations:
We understand that these are uncertain times and government regulations are changing rapidly; therefore, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the trip, per our cancelation policy.
Follow travel guidelines:
We understand that all these months indoors has made people eager to go outside and explore, but as you do that, remember to follow the local guidelines when making travel plans. Make sound decisions regarding where you’re going and when, whether it’s for essential business, a road trip, or simply running errands. For youself and others, continue to maintain physical distance and wear a facemask.
Please respect Ezze host and their cars as they are working hard to ensure that your safety and comfort is their priority. Therefore, it’s important to return these kind gestures by being respectful of them and their property.
If you and your host meeting in person to pick up or drop off the car, keep 2 meters distance if possible, wear a facemask and sanitize your hands.
