World Expo is considered one of the oldest and largest events in the world. Every five years, a city takes its opportunity every 5 years to host the event, which lasts six months at a time and invites all the other countries in the world to showcase their technological, innovative and architectural achievements and display the best products they have to offer.

The theme of the event for Expo 2020 is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, the meaning of which is reflected further by its three sub-themes of sustainability, mobility and opportunity.
When Is Expo 2020 Dubai Taking Place?
Expo 2020 will be held in Dubai. Originally the global event was scheduled for the 20th October 2020. However, due to Covid-19 breakout worldwide new dates are 1st October 2021 – 31st March 2022. This gives participants generous amount of time to attend the event.
The impact of Covid-19 on Expo 2020
UAE is at the top of the list among the countries with the highest vaccination rates. Despite postponement promoters will keep the name of Expo as “Expo 2020” for marketing and branding purposes. This is the first time that Expo session is postponed to a later date instead of being cancelled. To ensure visitors enjoy and stay safe during the event health and safety measures will be fully implemented across the Expo 2020 Dubai location. The expo will take place on an area of 438 hectares.
